Anniversary of Leon, NY the David Edward Clark family donated a Log Cabin design
for the Museum. It is on display at the

Anna Hunt was born in 1851 died in 1932. We are
not sure when she was married Edward W. Clark. After Edward W. Clark died, she
married Charles Franklin. He too was a long time resident of

The Leon Historical Society was found September 17, 1978. The main purpose at that time was a very simple one, keep as accurate history of the town and its families. also, love and respect for the past. The historians wanted to insure corrections and truth of the way it was, the way it is now, and connecting the past and present. this was to insure that says a person who does not know history is doomed to repeat the mistake of the past.
